Greetings to the wonderful nursing unit on the 9th floor. I want to send a big “thank you” from the bottom of my heart to every person who took care of me during my hospital stay. I felt really well the day after my release from the hospital but that’s only because of the very dedicated 9th Floor nursing staff who helped me get to that point. I was so impressed with each and every RN, CNA, and staff member who got me to that point. Your professionalism along with your individual personalities simply made my day. Despite the business of the day, I never got the feeling that you had other things or people to attend to. Impressive were the attentions made to details in my care. I celebrated my birthday while in the hospital but because of your care, I didn’t feel “down” in any way. There were quite a few of you who sang Happy Birthday which really warmed this old goat’s heart and many of you offered well wishes. I sure did appreciate the many individual talks that we had. Someone, who normally goes about doing her duties and never saying anything was the young lady who cleaned my room. Well, I was pleased to make her acquaintance and I was also pleased with her work and personality. Believe it, there is a reason why you all were selected #1 Hospital in the Nation. “You” are a great part of that award. Well done and thank you so very much. I’m going to miss all of my interactions with each of you. God bless you. YOU are the best!
