I had to have neck surgery. Star was my nighttime Nurse for one night I had to stay. She was extremely compassionate all through the night. She made sure I stayed on pain meds timely and checked on me after I had a CT scan. My IV morphine would beep through the night, and she always would run in to check on me. My absolute favorite thing about her is she was very personable, and she didn’t have to be. She actually stayed in my room, and we talked about books, kids, friends, etc. I will never forget her and her thoughtfulness in a hard time in my life. So, way to go, Star!
