My soon to be adoptive Grandson, Brian was recently in your hospital on two different occasions for skin grafting. With Brian's 1st hospitalization we were advised that he would be in for 3 days and due to the need to have PIC inserted, the Monday after his surgery and then he also ran a temp for a few days, then he refused to eat. Most likely due to the length of time in this new environment and confinement. One evening, Brian was becoming very restless, he was placed in the wagon and we walked the unit for 25 to 30 minutes. Stasha was at the nurses station and after many round trips she offered to go out of her way and continue to walk Brian in the hall if I became tired. Even though there was a family member with Brian at all times, she made frequent visits to his room asking if we needed anything at that time. Stasha is very professional, compassionate and caring nurse. She goes out of her way to assist and help the patient and the patient's family.
