I was in a ton of pain but I didn't panic because Stefanie wasn't panicking.
My nurse, Stefanie Musgrove, told me she was heading off to her break while I was breastfeeding my newborn son. A few minutes before her break was over, I noticed a fair amount of blood leaking from me. I asked my husband to look down and he said it was a lot of blood so he was going to look for Stefanie. She was just finishing her break and came straight to me. She pushed on my stomach and a very large gush of blood came out. I was in a ton of pain but I didn't panic because Stefanie wasn't panicking. She pressed the emergency button because I was hemorrhaging.

Multiple nurses came into my room to help. I had people giving me shots, medications in my IV, and trying to find veins in my arm for a blood transfusion. A doctor literally scooping clots of blood out of me. I was crying and yelling in pain. Every nurse in the room looked scared, they were dropping things and honestly stressing me out, except Stefanie. I looked for her during the chaos to feel some comfort. Stefanie and the doctor both remained calm during the crisis. Thank you so much, Stefanie. I wish you could have been my nurse for my whole stay here.
