Steph Fyten, RN
Our mom was brought to the ER after going unresponsive and hypotensive. Little did we know we would be saying our final goodbyes to her that night. Steph was her nurse and an absolute godsend during this time. We can't think of a more deserving person for the DAISY Award than Steph.
She sat with Mom and our family and prayed with us as Mom was taking her final breaths. She offered hugs, kind words, and the utmost compassion as we grieved our loss. Our brother, who had just had hip replacement surgery less than a week prior and was hurting both emotionally and physically, was also given compassionate care by Steph, as she went above and beyond to make sure he was as comfortable as possible.
It is so evident that Steph was meant to be a nurse and takes family-centered care very seriously. She goes above and beyond, and there are no words that can express our gratitude for her.
Thank you for all you have done, Steph. You are an angel on earth!
