We had a day on 4 East where we were down 2 nurses in a short period of time. We had multiple discharges and we were falling behind. Stephanie lives the Genesis Mission statement and went above and beyond for our staff. She did not hesitate to ask what we needed help with. We all wanted to say that we appreciated all her help. We had a nurse who did not show up for work, and that put us at critical staffing. Stephanie came to 4 East to help pass medications and care for patients. Stephanie is always willing to help the unit whenever there is a need. Stephanie is a phenomenal nurse and co-worker. Stephanie demonstrated our values of compassion, excellence, and teamwork!
