My husband had an appt at RWJ Barnabas Medical Center in the Wound and Ostomy Center at the hospital with the Ostomy Nurse Stephanie Cavallaro. She was one thousand stars! We cannot say enough about her kindness, professionalism, and knowledge regarding my husband's ileostomy. She spent two hours with us, giving us all kinds of options and alternatives in appliances and skin care suggestions to help him, yet including him every step of the way.
As an RN myself, I can say she went above and beyond to help him. She did not take any shortcuts, but her care was thorough, complete, calm, spot-on, hands-on, and compassionate. We will be forever grateful for Stephanie. She is a diamond!
