My discharge was delayed by a change in my condition and I wanted to tell the nurse leader about how impressed I was with the team and the compassion they exhibited. Stephanie listened thoughtfully and asked if there was anything that I wanted. I mentioned that I really had wanted a latte and Dr. Pepper during my stay but I was unable to get them. Voila! Stephanie went on a shopping trip and returned with both for me! She so exemplifies the standards of Mercy Gilbert! Her communication and compassion exemplify the organization’s expectations!

The nurse staff I truly believe is Best on the Planet! Special Ms. Stephanie made sure that my overall experience was everything it was supposed to be. A healing experience. I feel her attitude, implementation of culture, and presence make this hospital a very special place.

Mrs. Stephanie Desiderio made me feel like I was in the right place to be healed. Her attitude and presence brought me comfort and honestly eased all my concerns regarding my care. She is a great ambassador for the 'Human Kindness' brand. Nobody that I encountered during my 12-day stay embodies that phrase more than Mrs. Desiderio. I've been in hospitals and healthcare facilities around the world. I suffered a couple of accidents while in the military, the birth of my sons, and other various reasons. This staff and facility could set the standard and be the curve for any hospital in the world.
