Several weeks ago an Amish family brought their 3-year-old daughter in with a problem. Steph knew immediately that this little girl was in trouble. Due to the COVID situation, she was the only nurse in the room. I truly believe that God put her in the ED that day to take care of this patient. Her gentle touch, her soft voice, and her knowledge are just a few of her good points. She comforted the parents explaining that the problem was very serious. Steph kept trying to help the 3-year-old not to be afraid. Steph worked tiredly trying to save the little girl’s life. Even after the little girl passed, she comforted her parents trying to help them with their grief. Steph always tries her hardest to help anyone in need. Corry Memorial Hospital is very lucky to have her here.
