Stephanie Doyle is my dad’s Home Health Care Nurse. She is not only a wonderful and caring Nurse, but just an all-around genuine person. My dad was hospitalized at Advent Health Shawnee Mission unexpectedly for a Subdural Hematoma in February 2023 and was sent home with Home Health Care. Stephanie was assigned as his Home Health Care Nurse. I knew from Stephanie’s first visit that we had hit the jackpot. In July 2023, my dad had TAVR surgery at Advent Health Shawnee Mission so Stephanie was able to stay on as my dad’s Home Health Care Nurse.

After my dad’s TAVR surgery, my dad was sitting in his shop, and he was having some confusion, but he refused to go to the Emergency Department, and he was so very against me calling 911. So, who do I text? Stephanie Doyle. Stephanie cared enough to take the time to ask me questions about my dad’s symptoms and what he was saying and doing. She even checked with me the next day to see how my dad was doing. 

I am having some health issues myself, and Stephanie never fails to ask how I am doing and if there is anything she can do for me when she does her home health visits with my dad. That impresses me so very, very much. 

I know I can text or call Stephanie at the drop of a dime, and she will respond back to me as soon as she can.

My dad had a rash from his briefs, and she gave him a cream to help heal it.  

If Stephanie says she is going to do something, she follows through and does it. 

Stephanie has given my dad and me so much good advice and such good pointers on my dad’s overall health in general.
