The patient came in with an ostomy problem, extensive skin irritation, and this nurse came to the emergency department and assisted us in placing a new ostomy bag device on the patient. They were very caring and reassuring to the patient and helping in assisting in the care of the patient. The patient expressed that they did a very good job, and the staff of the emergency department was very appreciative of the care and assistance. They educated the patient on further care during the process related to their experience with their own family and showed exceptional empathy and caring.
