Stephanie is a dedicated Operating Room nurse who has worked with our team for the past several years. She is always pleasant and very efficient in this challenging environment. She works diligently to serve our veteran population. Her #1 priority is patient safety in the preparation of our patients for their surgical procedures. Due to her diligence, our patients are always in the room on time, meeting the facility's benchmarks. Her charting and record-keeping are outstanding, she adheres to the highest nursing professional standards. On numerous occasions she has met the challenge of working with our demanding team, she is always attentive to our needs, strives to improve our OR services, and is always willing to teach students and observers. Her commitment to this hospital and CT surgery is exemplary. She fulfills her duties with integrity and pride while functioning as a patient advocate to ensure our veterans get the outstanding care the Harry S Truman VA is known for. We appreciate Stephanie, not only for what she does for the CT surgery team, but we also feel she is an exemplary representation of the Harry S Truman VAMC.
