Stephanie Gangadeen, RN
Stephanie provided exceptional care during one of the most difficult experiences of my life. I was admitted to Inpatient Oncology for severe pain related to my cancer. I had gone several days without a bowel movement, and my pain was at a 10 out of 10.
She was the only nurse throughout the night who showed genuine concern and compassion. While many staff members seemed focused on their tasks, she made me feel seen, heard, and cared for. Despite how busy the unit was, Stephanie never made me feel like a burden.
She remained calm, attentive, and kind, helping me manage my pain while providing exceptional nursing care. She worked tirelessly to keep me comfortable, assisting with medications, positioning, and any other measures that could help ease my suffering.
What truly stood out was her unwavering compassion. Stephanie treated me with dignity, respect, and genuine empathy throughout the shift. This kindness and dedication made an incredibly difficult night more bearable and gave me hope during a time when I needed it most.
Stephanie’s professionalism, clinical expertise, and heartfelt compassion represent the very best of nursing. She exemplifies what it means to provide patient-centered care and goes above and beyond for those served.
