Stephanie makes sure she understands so she can provide emotional stability to all her patients. I watched her talk to a patient with dementia, who was increasingly confused due to her forgetfulness and anxiety. Stephanie was calm and kind and knew exactly what to do to reassure the patient. She talked to her and the patient calmed down. This patient kept climbing out of bed and would not listen. Stephanie kept talking to her, the whole time. Finally, the patient calmed down, she even started laughing. Stephanie is a qualified nurse who knows how to care for complex patients. Job well done!
