February 2026 Honoree
Stephanie Gonzalez 2026, RN
I came into the Emergency Room on New Year’s Day, not being able to hold anything down, bent over in severe pain, and barely able to regulate my body temperature or talk. Stephanie comforted me and was very thorough in her care plan. She gave me some medications, greeted me with a heartwarming smile, and made sure all my needs were met in my short visit.
What made my visit so special, and Stephanie didn’t know this, I’m staying in my college town, and I’m far from home. My mother has been sick and wasn’t able to come out to care for me. Stephanie’s warm and welcoming presence reminded me of my mother, and that is what I appreciate about my visit the most.
Thank you, Stephanie! I’m glad that I was able to receive care from you, and we were able to share stories and laughs together!
