Stephanie Green, RN

We witnessed compassion and caring that exemplifies everything that UCHealth stands for. Stephanie Green was the charge nurse on the High Acuity unit this day, and she demonstrated kindness and empathy to a family that was dealing with every parent’s worst nightmare. She escorted the patient over to Children's and stayed with him and his family in the PICU. She supported them during their care conference and comforted them during the passing of their daughter. She cried with them, she held them, and she prayed for them.
