October 2010 Honoree

Stephanie on why she became a Nurse:
I have been working as a registered nurse for a little over two years now. I went into nursing school with a specific goal in mind. I wanted to help make each of my patient’s stay as pleasant as possible; making patient’s comfortable by providing excellent care to them and their family members. I want to be able to brighten up their day during their stay on my floor.
I enjoy the positive feedback I am getting from my patients after/during taking care of them. It makes me feel good when I can put a smile on their face.
