Stephanie is such a wonderful and AMAZING nurse because she truly cares about her patients and staff. Stephanie is A GREAT nurse. "The ultimate gift of kindness, compassionate care, and clinical excellence, was given to me by my nurse. She has a heart of gold and true rays of sunshine. No matter what tasks she took on, or patient assignments she had, she made me feel like I was her only patient. I came in for an acute respiratory issue, and possibly involving the vasculature of the heart. From the moment we met an instant connection was made with her. She eased my anxieties, had a warm demeanor, and actively listened to me. She even cleaned my room in the process of her rounding and reduce any suffering I had throughout my entire stay. She also included my whole family in her care and in asking about them. When I had acute bronchospasm attacks she came right away, utilized her resources, and never left my side. At my most vulnerable, scariest moment not feeling like I could breathe I knew I was safe in her presence. I will remember it forever. I’m so grateful for all the team members on this unit, but she is utmost worthy of this deserving award. Compassionate connected care, improve safety, quality, and experience. She exemplified every excellent always standard, and went above and beyond to make me feel like family. As a fellow nurse from another unit-this stay as a patient, I feel extra compelled to recognize her nursing practice. I was the center of her care and appreciate everything she did for me. I appreciated her explaining and narrating through your care. She made me feel comfortable and worked with me on my plan of care and clustered my care so I could rest in between. You reduced my suffering in all ways possible. I see great leadership qualities in you and am blessed you cared for me. Exceptional service and you are living excellence always to the T! From one RN to another you left a great impression on me that I will forever remember.
