I called and was given the wrong lab values for my father - his chloride was told to me (103) when I asked about his SODIUM level for a specific date and his POTASSIUM level - both of which his PCP (before admission told him he runs critically low). So I was making sure these electrolytes were within normal limits - when the sodium and chloride levels were confused (told to me incorrectly) I became extremely concerned because my dad was SO very confused. I called twice and was told the wrong values both times. I called Stephanie and she immediately told me the correct electrolyte values. NO confusion. She also found my father’s belongings in a lockup which didn’t get transferred to the Stepdown COVID unit. NO problems. EXCELLENT! Thank you for going the EXTRA mile. This 7th floor is difficult enough with the patients. She keeps it together!
