Stephanie Lauria, MSN, BSN, RN

I've been an inpatient for over 2 weeks with covid and been an RN for over 40 years. I've never seen such a caring, self-sacrificing nurse as Stephanie. I just wanted a shower - little did I know the difficult task with breathing and panic attacks, but Stephanie literally took off her socks/shoes and got in with me to make it happen. She spent over an hour and a half helping me plus helping to keep me calm. It's hard to explain the panic that sets in when your feel like you can't breathe, but I was constantly reassured with her presence and soft voice of encouragement. She made it happen and I feel so much better. She's the best and I will never forget her caring, gentle and love displayed. She's a star.
