On a Sunday, a gentleman from Ft. McCoy, FL, came to registration requesting assistance because his portable O2 tank was running low and he had no spare. He was asking if we could refill his tank, so that he would not run out on the rest of the way home. This was brought to Stephanie Leonard's attention as Ellen and Lucy from Social Service were tied up with another situation. Stephanie took it upon herself to try to accommodate this gentleman's request.

After multiple phone calls encompassing a lengthy period of time calling various oxygen companies and insurance providers, she was able to arrange delivery of oxygen to this gentleman, ensuring him a safe trip home.

We think she should be recognized for her extraordinary effort in this special circumstance.
