Is my sick, full of pain, nauseated child giggling in the middle of the night darkness? Stephanie's optimistic attitude and diligent care of her patients make her an outstanding nurse. We had several difficult nights as my daughter recovered from heart surgery. Stephanie made a genuine effort to connect with my teenage daughter and personalize her care. She was quick and responsive and listened to all of our concerns. We were blessed to have her three nights in a row. On the last night, even as an overprotective mom, I woke very few times because I trusted her completely with my child. We have an amazing group of nurses both here and ICU; however, Stephanie stood out among the best.
