The morning they brought my mom to ICU our family was devastated and due to COVID and the visitor limitations we were very worried about our mother. Stephanie was my mom's 1st nurse when brought into ICU and was her nurse for a couple of day shifts. Stephanie demonstrated so much care and compassion she really put our family at ease about having to leave our mother alone without family. She informed my mother of her every move as if my mother was fully awake and alert. She came in constantly checking all the machines draining all that needed to be drained and making sure she was as comfortable as could be in her situation. She took the time to explain to us all that was going on and answered all our questions and concerns. Stephanie is an amazing nurse. By the time we met Stephanie, we had been here at the hospital for 4 days and she was the first nurse to show sincere concern for me and ask how I was doing. She truly is the perfect example of a caring compassionate professional exceptional person and nurse. I was very comfortable leaving my mom with her while I couldn't be here.
