Stephanie has always had the profound capability to connect with her patients. Recently we had a patient who was informed she had metastatic cancer all over. The patient was feeling very sad as she was a young mother who had two very young children. At the time of discharge along with discharge paperwork, Stephanie provided the patient and her family with passes to the Rockford Discovery Center so that the patient could have a nice day with her children. The patient was so appreciative. I give thanks to Stephanie who has served valiantly in the fight against Covid on the Covid floor along with her profound ability to connect with her patients.
