Her skill, knowledge, and confidence surrounding my wife's condition/comfort were outstanding
My wife had to be hospitalized a few days after a TAVR procedure. Her hospitalization was a stressful situation for us. We had the privilege to have Stephanie as her nurse on IMCU west. Her caring approach was centered around comfort and communication. She demonstrated safe care and comic relief when the need to limit food and drink added to an already stressful and exhausting day for my wife. Her skill, knowledge, and confidence surrounding my wife's condition/comfort were outstanding as the surgery had to be delayed until the following day.
Stephanie maintained professionalism with both of us and the team of other doctors and nurses. She was an advocate, even helping with the transition from recovery back to her room. We have interacted over the past 3 weeks with numerous nurses in the Providence network, many were exceptional, however, we feel that Stephanie's ability to exemplify your mission and core values was a step above. Thank you, Stephanie, for making a stressful situation more bearable.
