Stephanie consistently goes above and beyond to help the ICU and M/S floors. She leads by example and very often works as a floor nurse to help decrease burden on the nurses. Stephanie is always available to help out and always lets her nurses know how important they are to her. There is no one in this who works harder.

Steph is an amazing director of the two units, med floor and ICU. She cares about patients and her staff. She has put in countless overtime hours when staffing is short so that we don't have to work with less RN's. She comes dressed in scrubs ready to help out. It is truly awesome to have a director ready and willing to work the floor. She takes phone calls from us all hours of the night when we have questions regarding our patients or telemetry. She exemplifies someone who goes above and beyond her call of duty and the nurses under her truly appreciate what she does for us.

There have been numerous times when Steph has provided invaluable knowledge and/or assistance to me personally as a nurse. She is a phenomenal nurse and a great director! It is obvious that she is genuinely concerned about not only the wellbeing of her patients, but also for that of her staff. In one specific instance, I had a very difficult experience in my own department and was unable to get extra help from anywhere. Steph came to help and ended up helping manage a code. Recognizing that I was struggling with the events of the day, she followed up with me personally multiple times over the next few days to check on me and make sure I got the debriefing that I needed.
