It had been a rough few days for my mother as she gradually became sicker at home. She was reluctant to see a doctor and was more so to go to the emergency room. We arrived Saturday evening after a 40-minute drive due to the bad weather. We waited a couple of hours to be seen. Once in to be evaluated, this nurse put my mom at ease. Took her concerns seriously and validated her feelings. It is hard to be elderly, sick, and scared, and needing to rely on others to take care of you. This nurse was gentle, explained things well, and got to mom the things that she needed, including oxygen. Mom needed a calming presence. Thank you
