Stephanie Pakosta, RN

Stephanie always goes above and beyond with critical and pediatric patients. She is so compassionate and caring to these patients as well as relatable. The pediatric patients that come in terrified, she is super personable with and has a rare way of calming. Another time I witnessed her being the most immaculate educator to a family who had just witnessed their mother go into respiratory arrest. She never skipped a beat and kept the family informed the entire time. She also goes above and beyond her duties as a nurse by supporting other staff. For instance, I once was informed of a devastating situation while I was coming onto my shift. The news shook me as I knew it would have detrimental effects on my family. Stephanie talked me through it encouraging me and offering herself at a time when she did not have to interfere at all. It made the workflow smoother and showed her true extraordinary dedication to all humans despite the issues they present her with.
