Stephanie Paschke, RN

I was having a very emotional morning. I am chronically ill and almost in pain every day. I was admitted overnight, and there were a lot of unknowns for the day ahead. My fear was not getting my medication. Stephanie let me cry, and vent, and comforted me in a time I truly needed it the most. I felt heard. She promised to find out any information on what the game plan was. I couldn't thank her enough. Stephanie didn't treat me like a patient; she treated me like a person. I had told her my fears about coming out of surgery, and she made everyone aware, so I had an army waiting to stand up and protect me when I was at my lowest point. It was just a day of work for her, but a lasting impression that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
