Stephanie coached me alongside my partner throughout my entire labor process. She constantly motivated me, saying things like “you’re doing great,” and more. What really stood out to me was the fact that Stephanie knew my original doctor would not be in attendance for my delivery so she made herself present through the pushing process. She coached me through pushing, knowing that the doctor was five minutes away from the hospital, she had my baby’s head out and ready for the doctor to take over. She assured me that the NICU team was on stand-by and never left my side through it all. After the birth, Stephanie reassured me of how good of a job I did. My family insisted on taking a picture of her holding the baby so we could remember the face of the woman who treated us with so much love and support. She will forever be remembered as someone who had such a great impact on our miracle being here.
