August 2026 Honoree
Stephanie Reed, RN
The ER is a tough environment for patient experience. It is a cramped space, people run to and fro, and it is often noisy. We have a nurse who consistently stands out for her caring support and the attention she gives to her patients.
In July and August of 2026, we received the following comments:
- Stephanie was such a great help. A ray of sunshine on a terrible day!
- Stephanie, the admitting nurse, was very kind and checked on me through my stay. I was really scared, but she made me feel like I was not forgotten.
- Stephanie, my nurse, I say she was my nurse because I felt like she was only taking care of me—Stephanie, my nurse, was understanding and supportive and kept me aware of next steps.
- Stephanie was excellent. You need more like her.
- In patient comment card—I really appreciated the nurse named Stephanie from the ER. I knew how busy she was, but she was smiling, happy, and made me feel like everyone was working together just for me.
Stephanie embodies the values of caring and kindness that we want from all our staff. She consistently exceeds expectations and serves as a wonderful example of how nurses make a difference in the lives of individual patients.
Thank you, Stephanie, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
