Though I have a medical background I was decidedly stubborn and for a long period of time ignored symptoms that suggested some potentially serious medical conditions. It was only when a hemoglobin of 5.0 and dizziness/vomiting forced me to go to the ER for help that I found true care (both clinically and emotionally) from Dr. Fr and a wonderful RN, Stephanie Roets . I will never forget her calm presence and expert nursing skills. She and Dr. F were my true advocates. If it were not for Dr. F's skilled assessment I may not be writing this today. And Stephanie provided care that made me feel as if I was family. I commend WRMC for having such high -caliber Professionals on staff.
