Stephanie was so wonderful to both me and my Father throughout his stay in the ICU. Stephanie was my Father’s nurse when he transferred from the ER to the ICU. Her medical knowledge and skill were apparent from the start and I immediately felt comfortable that my Father was in the best hands possible. Stephanie got my Father settled in his room and then took the time to explain his situation to me and answer all of my questions. She was clearly so knowledgeable about both his recent medical history and current situation. She confidently and skillfully managed his multiple medical needs while he was in critical condition. I appreciate that Stephanie always took the time to talk to my dad and explain everything that she was doing, even though he was non-responsive. She also checked in with me to see how I was doing. Stephanie listened to my concerns regarding my Father and she followed up appropriately. It was easier to leave my dad in the ICU knowing that he was in such competent hands. I truly feel that she cared for him as kindly and compassionately as if he were her own family member. I feel so fortunate that we had Stephanie supporting us during an extremely difficult, emotional, and scary time.
