I came in today via the E.R. everyone down there was also very helpful so kudos to them. I was at work flagging when I became short of breath. I didn't really understand why because I was in a straight position. So I thought if I had a seal I would be better but then I became light-headed. My visit led to an overnight stay so I could receive a blood transfusion. It was my first time going through this process and my nerves were through the roof, but my nurse, Ms. Stephanie Santoleri, went the extra mile by explaining and making me feel very comfortable with what was going on. I actually learned more about anemia and the seriousness of it. She could have easily just done her job and that be it, but she took the time and effort to make sure that not only was I comfortable but educated and I appreciate that. Thank you, Steph.
