The best part about Stephanie is that not only do you have a manager who will push you to succeed and be the best version of yourself, but she will be there cheering you on every step of the way to ensure you get there.
Since she has become the ED/Inpatient manager within the last 2 years, she has made great contributions to the departments she manages. She is bringing new direction and support to each department. She wants to be involved and learn each role in her department. She has worked hard to get both departments fully staffed.
She is always looking for ways to make each department better by helping bring education offerings and others to help staff learn. She always has a positive attitude with the staff. She has been on call for most of her time as a manager, which can be challenging for anyone, especially a new mom. If there were no other options, she was willing to fill in the gaps in coverage.

It’s not a secret how much I brag that this nurse leader has been the best manager for our department, Medsurg/ICU. Stephanie took on a huge role when she came to Tipton, going from shift coordinator to the manager of two departments, Medsurg/ICU and ER! From day 1, she has gone above and beyond for her staff from coming in early or staying late to show appreciation for nightshift, which we all know is a common stressor for nightshift staff, keeping up with and celebrating staff birthdays, recognizing staff for not only work-related accomplishments, but personal accomplishments as well.
If there is something going on, this nurse leader is going to acknowledge it. If there is a problem, she is going to find the answer. She has been the best advocate for everyone she meets. The best part about Stephanie is that not only do you have a manager who will push you to succeed and be the best version of yourself, but she will be there cheering you on every step of the way to ensure you get there. I couldn’t be more thankful for Stephanie.
