Stephanie Taylor 2024, RN, BSN

My little sister, N (age 23) passed away in December. Her body was kept alive for three days, and she then donated her organs to many special individuals. During the worst days of our lives at the hospital, we met Stephanie. She went above and beyond. She treated N like she was her own family member and showed such love and care. She sat and listened to songs my sister wrote and recorded. She held my mother's hand and prayed with her. She laughed and cried with us as we told her stories about our sweet N. She truly made us feel as if my sister was the most important thing. She took the time to get to know each of my family members and made sure to check on us, too. Stephanie was very knowledgeable and made sure we knew exactly what was happening at each step. She was the true meaning of being a nurse. My family will remember her for our entire lives. She was a light in a very dark time. She is a person many should strive to be like. Thank you, Stephanie.
