We experienced the worst day of my and my husband's life. After carrying our precious daughter for 8 months, we were told that her heart had stopped beating the previous night.

Stephanie was introduced to me by my night nurse, Mary (who was also phenomenal), that morning. I remembered she hugged me and reassured me that she would do anything I needed within her means. I felt so hopeless, devastated, and was in agonizing emotional distress, but she made me feel at ease.

During the shift, she held my hand, dried my endless tears, and offered me affection even after only knowing me for a couple of hours. She guided me through this awful experience in my life with such grace and compassion.

She always gave me choices in my direction of care and explained everything thoroughly.

After delivering our sweet baby girl, she took gentle care of cleaning her and dressing her beautifully before handing her over to us.

She stayed late and helped make keepsakes that we will cherish forever.
