This nurse went beyond the call of being a terrific nurse. I was an emotional wreck. She took the time to pray and print out a favorite scripture of mine, Psalm 91. She and I both read it together. She was there for me like a dear friend. Someone I could count on. Her demeanor and personality were so beautiful towards me. In her caring for and comforting me, I felt so relieved. She made sure I was in no pain. And everything I needed, my needs were met. She definitely deserves the DAISY Award. We need nurses like her. 

This nurse is an example of how a nurse should treat patients. Her work ethic is truly an amazing example of the quality of being in the healthcare field and an advocate for all patient care. She has an excellent outgoing spirit that can make anyone feel exceptionally great about themselves. She is a fine inspiration to all humankind. She deserves this DAISY Award because she is truly one of God’s children and it shows through her character.
