Often times the patients are seen as only the reason they are in the hospital and not who they are. My 92-year-old mother was in for heart issues and was not really herself. Stephanie took the time to speak with her and learn things about her and realized they had friends in common. She saw all of my mom and not just what her condition made her. She also took the time to explain to me what was going on with mom both over the phone and in person. Even though she had other patients that were more critical, she was a bright light in what was a stressful few days! You are very fortunate and blessed to have her!
