Helping those in their time of need is nothing new to Stephanie Walsh. Ms. Walsh was nominated by a patient’s family who expressed their abundant appreciation for all of Stephanie’s care, compassion, and advocacy for their loved one while being cared for in the Intensive Care Unit.

“Through these years I have stayed with Geisinger because of the honest desire the organization has to better the communities in the Pennsylvania Commonwealth. Geisinger's, "Long Live," mission supports people in their individual journey of long-term health and well-being. This is a mission I genuinely strive to do to ensure people have the proper tools and resources to make the right choices in daily dietary, exercise and routine screening health; and Geisinger helps people achieve this.” Ms. Walsh is also utilizing the tuition reimbursement program while pursuing her Family Nurse Practitioner degree and plans to stay with the Geisinger organization upon degree completion.
