I came to labor and delivery, and my nurse was Stephanie. I was in labor for hours before the doctor said I might need to get a c-section if his heart rate continued to go down or fluctuated too much. Stephanie was so helpful in helping me move to different positions and making sure we kept my baby's heart rate up so I could have the vaginal delivery that I really wanted to have. She was on her feet for hours and keeping a constant eye on me and hands-on, helping me move around a lot and she was seven months pregnant! Stephanie was so nice and just amazing. She didn't take a break the entire time. She really went above and beyond. I don't think I would've had the delivery I wanted or that it would have gone so well without having Stepahanie there to help every step of the way, especially while being seven months pregnant. She is the kind of nurse everyone hopes to have.
