Stephanie Wier was so compassionate and helpful to not only my husband but also our entire family. She consoled me, explained things to me, tried to keep me fed, gave hugs, the list goes on and on. She gave my husband fantastic care and he loves her even though he can't verbalize it. He tells me in his own way. She is truly one of the most compassionate nurses I have ever met. I don't know what I would have done without her.
When my husband had tests, Stephanie explained everything as well as answered any questions asked. She is truly more than worthy of the DAISY Award or even a higher award if available. I knew I could always count on her to hold me up because my husband is having very, very serious problems and diagnosis. She is my angel here at Henry Ford. Just seeing her face made us feel better because we just got continuous bad news.
I wish I could put how I feel in my heart on paper, but please know Stephanie will never be forgotten and I am forever thankful for her professionalism, compassion, and patience. She took wonderful care of my husband. Please know she is a DAISY.
