I wanted to take some time to recognize one of our truly exceptional nurses, Stephanie Zafra. Stephanie is so quiet and soft-spoken that her many remarkable qualities could easily go unnoticed. Stephanie is wonderful with her patients. She takes time to get to know something special about each of them so that she can connect with them and provide individualized care to them. The last skin audit, as we went through each of the patients, it was quite obvious the ones that she had cared for. One lady enjoyed a particular musical artist, so Stephanie had that music up and ready to play for her while we did her skin assessment.
