Stephen has been looking after and taking care of my mother. Stephen is very kind and patient. He explains who he is, what he's doing and has a very gentle touch. His great attitude is exemplary. I've watched him with his co-workers and he's always there helping them. Stephen is always following hygienic and safe hospital protocols. Stephen always explains the reasons to my mom and me for everything he's doing. Stephen has also been very helpful in teaching me how to take better care of my mom and recommending a variety of ways I can help my mom.
He is extremely patient with my mom while taking care of her and feeding her. Stephen has a gentle touch. He is extremely knowledgeable and has given my mom and I a great sense of security. Stephen's approach, outlook, kindness, and attitude are one of the best I've seen. I feel Stephen should be recognized for his tremendous compassion and kindness.
Kaiser has a very valuable employee in Stephen and I hope Kaiser recognizes this. I never see him messing around, but always on the floor and in the rooms working extremely hard. Kaiser is very lucky to have him, and he has been an absolute Godsend to my mother and me.

Stephen was her nurse the day Mom had fluid drained from her left lung. Mom was scared; the procedure was done in her room. Stephen was calming, held her and hummed a song to her during the procedure; it calmed her greatly. Each day we had him he went above and beyond. He is a problem solver. He is clearly in the profession that he is gifted to work in.
We were fortunate to have Mom under his care. My sister and I always felt confident she would be well cared for when he was her nurse. He is very caring, compassionate and professional with patients. He is very good at explaining things where patients and families understand. It is so evident he isn't just collecting a paycheck but was born to be in the nursing field.
