Steve really kept me from falling through the bottom of the well when I found out my disease was going to kill me. He kept my hopes up and got me believing in myself. Whether I make it through this life or not he will be instrumental in keeping me calm as I go through this. He has allowed me to stay up when I need to. He has made me feel that I have made a difference in other people's life. He is very generous with both his time and help.
He really enjoys making people smile during difficult times. Believe me, it has helped. I don't know what is at the top of the ladder, but he will leave a huge help. I really appreciate the things he has done. I am proud to say he is a friend of mine. I do not mourn the loss, but it made me appreciate my life.
