My husband spent the night in ICU on ventilation. Stephen Wagner was his nurse and I was so impressed and comforted in a situation totally foreign to me, with Stephen's total devotion all night with his care.
When Stephen wasn't attending to my husband, he was attending to me, explaining everything he was doing for him, and helping me to understand what results we were looking for. Stephen went out of his way to calm my fears. Even though my husband was heavily sedated, he could still hear, and Stephen protected him by only allowing a calm and confident atmosphere.
I felt I got extremely excellent care. The team at Valley is amazing, and my husband is now doing well.
