I had a concern of back pain (if not injury) due to the fusions in my back, neck, and SI joint on the right, and the positioning during surgery to replace my right hip. I was right! I woke up in recovery with terrible back pain (lower back) with spasms. I remember begging for help, praying out to God, gripping the rails. I also remember hearing the nurse saying "call them now", "get the order now", and her trying to prop me up, lay me back, rub my back - anything she could to get me comfortable urgently. And she did. I greatly appreciate her help and concern. EVERYONE at the surgery center was amazing. I had 2 surgeries there, and from the sweet receptionist, the pre-op testing staff, the Joint Camp, pre and post op, there was never a problem. I give them an enthusiastic 10/10! Thank you ALL.
