Sterling Otero, BSN, RN

I went to the hospital after a very traumatizing sexual assault, and even through my lifelong issues with health, I have to this day never had a nurse as incredible as Sterling. She respected my space and was sure to make sure anytime she did touch me I knew why. In moments like that, it’s still hard not to cry and be full of hate. But Sterling made me feel like my best friend, was the one holding my hand through it. This woman is incredible and the most amazing health professional I’ve ever had. She was gentle, amazing with her care, and reminded me, I could say no to the care being offered. She sat with me like a friend for an hour and took the time to take care of me like a human. Sterling is freaking incredible.
