It was around 4:30 a.m. and my husband was in a lot of pain with cellulitis. After hours of waiting on test results and such Steve noticed an abnormality in heartrate. After EKG's and monitoring it was found that my husband was A-Fib. Steve explained every step, every test, making sure we understood. Steve went out of his way to also help our 6-year old son to be entertained why we waited a total of 6 hours in waiting room; he gave him books, paper, graham crackers, juice. He helped the whole family feel comfortable in a visibly tense situation. Steve is the best nurse I have seen. He saved us in many ways.
