My daughter was a patient at CFVH for some time. Steve was always striving to find something he could do to help relieve the horrible pain she was dealing with each day. She had fluids forming in her stomach but did not want to continue to leave the floor to have them drained. Steve got permission to do this at the bedside. He began to do the procedure on her every time it was needed. His knowledge of the various medications, dosage amounts and how best to give them was amazing. She began to depend on him to help her calm down so she could sleep. Not only is Steve this exceptionally skilled nurse and excellent caregiver to the patients, but he does all of this while helping other nurses.
